Solidarity Payment (Cash payout for Singaporeans)
For all Singaporeans aged 21 and above in 2020.
$600 to be credited into your bank account or by cheque
14 April 2020: $600 will be credited to your previously provided bank account. If you have not provided account details, do so by 23 April 2020 at https://go.gov.sg/spsc
Solidarity Payment (Cash payout for Singaporean Permanent Residents)
For Singapore Permanent Residents aged 21 and above in 2020. No application needed for Singaporeans
$300 one-off payment to be credited to your bank account or by cheque
Apply online by 10 May 2020
Cash payout for Singaporean parents
For each Singaporean parent with at least one Singaporean child aged 20 and below in 2020.
One-time $300 to be credited into bank account previously provided or by cheque
PAssion Card Top-up
For all Singaporeans aged 50 years and above in 2020.
One-time $100 to be credited into bank account previously provided or by cheque
Enhanced Grocery Vouchers
For Singaporeans aged 21 and above living in 1- or 2-room HDB flats and do not own more than 1 property.
$300 in 2020, $100 in 2021
October and December 2020. 2021 date to be advised.
Additional GST Voucher - U-Save
For all eligible HDB households. Eligible larger households with 5 or more members will receive additional rebate.
2 times or 2.5 times their regular GST Voucher
Over two quarters in April 2020 and July 2020.
Eligible larger households will receive their additional rebate over two quarters in October 2020 and January 2021.
Service & Conservancy Charges (S&CC) Rebate
For all eligible Singaporean households living in HDB flats.
Between 1.5 and 3.5 months of S&CC over FY2020
Over four quarters in April 2020, July 2020, October 2020 and January 2021.
No increases in Government fees and charges for 1 year
Freezing of all government fees and charges for one year, from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021. This will apply to all fees for government services.
Student Loan Repayment Relief
Suspension of all loan repayment and interest charges for one year, from 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021. This will apply to all graduates who have taken a government loan for their university and polytechnic studies.
Suspend Late Mortgage Payment Charges
Suspension of all late payment charges on HDB mortgage arrears for three months, for those who are struggling with their mortgage payments during this difficult period.
Defer Repayment for Residential Property Loans
You may apply to your lender to defer either (i) principal payment or (ii) both principal and interest payments until 31 December 2020.
- Interest will accrue only on the deferred principal amount.
- The loan term may be extended by up to the corresponding principal deferment period.
Lower Interest on Personal Unsecured Credit
You may apply to your lender to convert your outstanding balances on credit cards or revolving credit lines to a lower interest term loan.
- Effective interest rate capped at 8% and tenure is up to five years.
- Application period is from 6 April 2020 to 31 December 2020.
Defer Premium Payments for Life and Health Insurance
You may apply to your insurer to defer premiums for your life and health insurance policies for up to six months.
- Only policies with renewal or premium due date between 1 Apr to 30 Sep 2020 are eligible.
Flexible Instalment Plans for General Insurance
You may apply to your insurer to pay for your general insurance premiums (e.g. for property and vehicles) in installments.
